New Athlone I.T research partnership with Ericsson to be worth up to €3M
A new partnership between Athlone Institute of Technology and technology company giant Ericsson is set to be worth an estimated €3million over the next three years.
AIT confirmed on Friday that it was entering an agreement with the Swedish company to develop a new Joint Research Programme in the area of communications technology
The programme will be hosted by AIT and will set up to 14 people avail of research opportunities, as well as working with post doctoral researchers and it is already underway since the beginning of this month with partial funding drawn down.
